Gliding Scholarship Wings
Cadets have completed 8 hours flying training and have demonstrated the
ability to fly around the circuit. |

Gliding Scholarship Solo Wings
Cadets have flown a solo circuit, usually lasting about 10 minutes |

Advanced Gliding Training
The Cadets have completed a further 5 hours training, including how to
land in cross winds plus a further 5 solo circuits. |

| Grade 1 Pilots & C Category Instructors wear the same
Wings.
Grade 1 Pilots can fly staff and Cadets on Gliding Induction Courses
and Air Experience Flights.
C Category Instructors teach students the Gliding Scholarship |

| A & B Category Instructors both wear the same Wings.
Sometimes referred to as Senior Instructors
B Category Instructors can do the same at the C Category, plus send 2nd
solo's, teach AGT and staff as well as act as Duty Instructor
A Category instructors can do the same as above and are the only
instructors that can send 1st Solo's. |
