Training Undertaken by 613 VGS
613VGS is a unit of the Air Cadet Organization and is tasked to provide flying training to Air Cadets from both the Air Training Corps and the Combined Cadet Force (RAF Sections). Although we fly powered aircraft, they are designated as motor gliders and as such we fall under the Gliding Wing of the flying provided by the Air Cadets.- Gliding Induction Course GIC trial flying lesson lasting between 20 - 30 minutes
- Gliding Scholarship GS 8 hours of flying lessons with the aim of sending the cadet solo
- Advanced Gliding Training AGT A further 5 hours of flying training which includes five solo flights
