Gliding Scholarship - Residential Courses
The courses start on the 1st Friday at 6pm with a briefing. Students fly everyday (subject to weather) and live on the Camp at RAF Halton. The Course ends at midday on the last Sunday.
This is an ideal opportunity for cadets to make the most of the scholarship. With flying every day, students get the most out of every flying hour.
The social side is also quite good, with 12 students on each course, many new friendships are made. The aim of the course is to teach Cadets to fly solo, therefore, discipline is not as strict as annual camp and we maintain a relaxed and professional approach.
