RAF Halton613 VGS is located on the grass airfield at RAF Halton near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The Station is located approximately 5 miles South of Aylesbury. 613 VGS operate from No 4 Hangar on the Airfield. The nearest railway station is in Wendover which is on the Marylebone to Aylesbury Line and there is a bus from the station to RAF Halton. RAF Halton is part of the Personnel and Training Command and was probably best known for the Apprentice School, which closed during the late 1990's. Other airfield users include the RAF Gliding & Soaring Association Club - Chilterns, Halton Flying Club and The RAF Microlight Association. The Station regularly uses the airfield for training and entry is restricted to official visitors. Location Map613VGSThere is a car park at the entrance to the Airfield and 613VGS is located in Hangar 4. This can be found by walking past the barrier, along the road way. When you get to the next barrier, it is the concrete Hangar to your right.
